Welcome to the lyrics treasure hunt page for Angels and Ministers of Grace, my second published novel. The main character of this story is Anya Vaedrin, a singer with more than one talent up her sleeve, but this page is dedicated to her music. There are references to three songs within this story: Miss You Most, Bad Enough, and Counting Teardrops.

Miss You Most is a song that Anya wrote in tribute to the family that she left behind when she fled Earth for Far Reach Station. This is the only song in its entirety in the book--the reader only catches glimpses of Bad Enough and just the title to Counting Teardrops. Leaving them out was in the interest of story flow and plot sequence.

Because Miss You Most is already in the book, you get the lyrics to that one here for free, Intrepid Reader! But you'll have to search through this site for the other two. Look for the to find the lyrics to Bad Enough and Counting Teardrops.

Good Hunting!!

Miss You Most

I miss you most in summers gone by
Covered in grass stains and sweet flowers
Over fields and through sunbeams I'd fly
To your arms, laughing together for hours.

I remember the love in your arms
I remember the warmth of your smile
I remember the light in your eyes
We've been apart for such a long while
But though the distance is far
I'll know wherever you are
My soul is where I feel you
Just call me and I'll be true.

I miss you most watching summer stars
Talking in whispers to cricket song
Spending the cool night wrapped in your arms
And falling asleep before too long.

I remember the love in your arms
I remember the warmth of your smile
I remember the light in your eyes
We've been apart for such a long while
But though the distance is far
I'll know wherever you are
My soul is where I feel you
So call me and I'll be true.

I miss you most in my heart
[My soul is where I feel you]
Day and night, whenever we're apart.
[Just call me and I'll be true]
I miss you...
